Sean Tiernan, Esq., Of Counsel

Sean Tiernan serves as Of Counsel at Canner Law, where he focuses on real estate, condominium, and landlord-tenant law throughout Massachusetts. He represents buyers, sellers, lenders, landlords, developers, and condominium associations in both transactional and advisory matters.

Sean handles residential and commercial conveyancing from contract through closing, with experience in title examination, purchase and sale agreement review, underwriting analysis, and complex title resolution. He is particularly known for advising developers and multi-unit property owners on condominium conversions, guiding clients through structuring, document preparation, and compliance to ensure projects are properly established from the outset.

He also represents landlords and tenants in leasing, evictions, compliance matters, and risk management, and advises condominium associations and unit owners on governance and enforcement issues.

Known for his precision, responsiveness, and practical approach, Sean works closely with clients to deliver clear, strategic guidance while keeping matters efficient and on track.

Sean earned his B.S. cum laude from Suffolk University and his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 2016. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
